Etra Lake Park has existed for many years. The name Etra comes from the initials of E. T. R. Applegate, an early farmer. In the near future a trail will connect Lake Drive in Twin Rivers to the Park. It is under construction now. There is also other land in the area being preserved to form a green ribbon of preserved lands.
